Icardi 2003 L’Aurora Cortese $13.99 Piedmont

A wonderfully user friendly white. The nose is similar to sweet pear with pleasing floral notes. In the mouth, it is elegant and light to medium-bodied with citrus as well as bright apple. The wine is round and pleasant and a delicate mineral finish.

Great with seafood or as an apertif guzzler!

Green and Red 2003 Chiles Canyon Vineyards Zinfandel $16.99

A well-made wine with concentrated spicy black fruit and toast aromas. Gushing with ripe black cherry, boysenberry, and spicy flavors that are rich and graceful, finishing with a weave of fresh pepper. It all adds up to a delightfully complex wine that has sufficient tannins for the heartiest of meals.
