Ancien 2003 Carneros Pinot Noir $34.99

A wonderful example of what can be produced from the Carneros region. A remarkably smooth, velvety texture with loads of rich grapey fruit intermixed with hints of herbs and a fairly intense dose of barrel derived spices. A medium to full body wine made attractive by its balance and texture complemented by its dynamic flavors that keep coming longer than anticipated.

Drink with your favorite grilled gourmet sausages paired with a piece of Cotswold cheese
