Weekly wine picks

Bokisch 2003 Lodi Albarino

Another great summer sipper, fruit driven, fleshy and loaded with aromas of honeysuckle and peaches. This Albarino exhibits considerable quantities of apricot, pear, and pineapple flavors. Medium bodied, refreshing, crisp and dry. A beautiful rendition of this northern Spanish varietal.

Pair with proscuitto and manchego appetizers

Logan 2002 Sleepy Hollow Vineyard Pinot Noir

A wonderful, medium ruby-colored, wine. Fragrant spicy black cherry, plum and forest floor notes revealing supple cherry, nicely integrated wood and tannin in a silky medium body style. Good acidity and remnants of spices in the finish.

Drink with grilled duck breast
