Weekly wine picks for 10/18/05

Rosenblum 2004 Rhodes Vineyard Grenache Rosé $17.99

A beautiful bright pink wine! Fragrant and fruity, this wine has aromas of red berries, floral notes and exotic vanilla spice. The flavors are of strawberries and melon with good underlying acidity that dances across your palate. Fresh, clean and elegant, sip after sip.

Drink with roast chicken, turkey or ham

Los Vascos Reserve Colchagua Valley 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon $14.99

A stylish, deep colored and squarely balanced Chilean cabernet. The penetrating fragrance of berries, cassis, toast and oak are all wrapped up with the unrestrained flavors of black fruit and spice with a rich velvety texture. Medium to full bodied it finishes nicely with moderate tannin and some spiced mocha notes.

Drink with rib roast or rack of lamb
